Thank you for visiting our web site and for considering us as your home sitting care givers. We do not consider ourselves  house sitters, but as care givers of your home. A house may be a home, but a home is not always a house. Homes are more than just buildings made of wood , bricks and siding. They are where you feel the warmth and comfort of the family. Where you have felt loved, protected and where the personal aspects of your life are more than just things. We do not take care of things. We take care of the loves of your life.

Wherever Heidi and I have lived, we have made those places our homes. Our last place of residence allowed us the opportunity to grow our own organic garden in the backyard. To place flower gardens in the front yard and even to plant small trees and grape vines on the property. Not because we had to, but because we wanted to make the owners property more beautiful and to make his house, our home. The home became the talk of the neighbors as we beautified the place like it had never been done before from past owners.

Heidi and I love gardening, camping together. She is a professional silk flower arranger with several weddings under her belt. She is also an author and is working on two children's books at the present time. She is also a great cook and has taken care of a conference centre for as many as 60 guests at a time. And in her spare time, she took a degree in computer business accounting.

My personal joys are photography, building web sites, and starting new businesses for resale. I was the first to market an environmentally safe cleaning product, called soapnuts, in Canada. Check it out on the internet. My deepest love is historical research. I have also written several spiritual articles which have been placed online HERE.

I am a retired elevator technician and have worked most of that time as a local representative for the companies. My skills were to repair elevators, market and deal with contract negotiations as well as general  public relations with clients. I have installed high rise elevators, escalators and have worked with many and different types of hand and power tools. I was the Organizational Chair for a small Federal party begun by Paul Hellyer the Defence Minister, in the Pearson government. Today we are a-political.

We are non-smokers, non-party animals, and love pets; as long as they don't take a liking to our legs. We love the mountains and the water scenery.

We are new to the so-called home care business, however we do not consider taking care of your home as a business, but rather a service to you. Yet one that benefits both parties. You receive a couple that will take care of your home as if it were our own and we receive the blessing of doing so.

We believe that the above information gives you a brief idea of who we are and what skills we bring to the caring of your home. We can supply you with criminal background checks and references. We will provide a reference from the present home sit, after it is over in mid April.

What Are We Looking For?

We are presently looking for mid to long term stays for the spring and summer month to early fall. Our needs are simply. Contact us if we fit your expectations.
